Completed this run this morning. Managed 4k with the walks included which I am pleased with. Each km is approximately late 8 minutes at the moment.
Had some gremlins this morning as I am feeling bloated and lethargic today but this run set me up to zoom through the day. It is odd that I struggle on the second run but this seems to a common theme so I can remind myself of this now which gets me through. Cant believe I graduate next week

Well done Hattie! You’re totally smashing this!! Great job beating those gremlins. Agreed the second run is the worst! But yay to graduating next week. Only 4 more runs for you!! Are you going to do bridge to 10?
Thank you! Feels great to beat the gremlins each second run! Yeah I am going to do bridge to 10k but I want to speed up my 5k's first. I dont know much about bridge to 10k do you?
Nope not much at all, there is someone in the bridge forum that does a rolling 8 week program. Not sure if that is after doing consolidation runs to get to 5k or including. I think it’s just started so there are 7 weeks before it starts again. Plenty of time to get that 5k under our belts...she says possibly optimistically.
Glad you enjoyed your run today Hattie, a little advice regarding timeing, I think it's better now that you are on the long continuous runs just to time the runs, not the warm up walk to the start of the run nor the cool down walk after the run, at least that's what I did and many others on C25K do when it comes to the longer runs. 😊🏃Good luck to you for the final week. 👍😊
You're doing well. You'll be heading up to that podium for your graduation medal very soon! Isn't it an amazing feeling? I thought miracles were happening when I built up each week and love reading how well you are all doing as you reach week 9. Keep it up!
I did a week of consolidation runs first, running where I liked and finding new places, then hopped on to the B210km program. I accidentally ran too far for week one so joined at week 2! I often had longer breaks after the long runs though because I discovered (after a few days off due to injury) my body used the time to build me up and I seemed to run better.
