Niggly injuries that just won't go away.

Grrr! Very frustrated at the moment. Finally realised my problem foot/ankle area has been gradually getting worse as the distance increases. I had hoped to run it off. Time to seek professional advice.

Oh dear. You are doing the right thing; if after trying exercises to ease the problem, the issue remain, it is best to get it checked out...preferably by a registered Sports Physio :)

Unfortunately trying to run things off often makes things worse...sometimes without us realising it.

Keep us posted please:)

Have you tried following your run with some stretches? That might help, and do some shorter runs. Or is it gone past that?

I'd not thought about shorter runs to keep ticking over, all the other stuff I'm doing . Now limping after every run, just to be on the safe side I'll see a sports physio

Good luck with it. I have had a few problems with shin splints and dodgy knees and have been lucky to solve it with good trainers, stretches and compression socks. I hope you are back to normal soon!
