The only thing ‘rainy’ I have is a very thin, shower proof jacket but after 2-3 mins of running I have to take it off as I’m too warm...I enjoy running in the rain, I find it quite liberating...once you’re wet, you’re wet!! 😉

Exactly KateBounce ....embrace the rain! I used to HATE rain, but I love it now x

I run in shorts and shirt in the rain... the extra cooling of that lovely fresh water really helps. It’s just about still warm enough to get wet on the run and stay warm on the walk bits.

I will give it a go! Thank you

If you wear glasses (or not really) a peaked cap can help keep the ran away from your eyes, helping vision.

Good question! I follow :)

Don’t need anything different! Not til it gets cold. Running in the rain is lovely!

I love running in rain since I have a problem with over heating so it’s one less thing to bother about. I’ve just been out in tshirt and shorts, got absolutely soaked and a car splashed me like I’d had a bucket of water thrown at me but it was so refreshing. As Mummycav says, once you’re wet, you’re wet!!

I hate big rain, but bow to the inevitably of it getting me wet :(

As long as I'm not running with my soggy clothes trailing behind me like a Royal Wedding Gown Train I just add a peaked cap to my gear, go out get wet and grin and bear it.

In the many years I spent outdoors in all sorts of weather not one of those "waterproof but breathable" fabrics was worth the money - you are either waterproof but stationary or wet when moving :(

I just have to get on with it then!! It’s something I will get used to, we have enough of it!!

Believe me, it will become an extremely small price to pay as you progress :) I initially emigrated because I was fed up of rainy days - so many of them - but nowadays when it pours even it's "hohum" instead of " *%+*#@&$" on my Run days ;)
