Going for my first run w1r1...😣😣😣😣 wish me luck i hate running but my family and work life gives me no time for swimming!
First run: Going for my first run w1r... - Couch to 5K
First run
You’ll look back on this as the best thing you ever did! When I started - I found W1R1 sooo hard - but I’m just about to finish week 7 now (and have run 30 mins a couple of times now). I absolutely love swimming and the gym - but found I just used the extra time to travel and change as a block to me doing either! This programme has been a real game-changer for me. Good luck!
Good luck bello543! Have to say, I hated running and always have, but I love the feeling of doing something good for me ( especially as I'm usually a lazy bum!) And I love the feeling big the little achievement along the way. Those feelings always mean more to me than the " I'm not a runner" feeling XX
Welcome. Hopefully you will surprise yourself with how much you enjoy (even if only when the run has ended) doing this. I exercise at home too, using body weight, weights and you tube - there’s a workout/yoga lesson etc on there for every occasion, and then some😀.
The link below which may help it be more enjoyable comes from the Pinned Posts, FAQ and there’s loads more helpful info there.

I got an app i can use that im happy with. Surprisingly found the run easy so i guess i cant be that unfit. Thank you for supporting me
Check out the post... that way it will help with your journey through this programme
Do read that link from Oldfloss. There's more to it than following the app - yes stick to the programme, but there are things you need to understand as you go to ensure you progress, avoid injury and (believe it or not) eventually start to enjoy running
Welcome.. follow the C25K plan.... slow and steady... keep posting and enjoy... nine week son and you will LOVE running!
