So with the first week with the run for 60

Seconds walk for 90, do you get prompt when to walk, run and cool down as I am considering using this on the tread mill for sprints and using some headphones.

Cause tbh going to the gym and pressing a million buttons when I could just use the Nike plus coach seems more practical and beneficial for me.

Hi! Yes you do get prompted in the app 😁 Welcome to the forum 🤗

Is that after turning in on?

Yes. Start your music first, go to the app, press ‘start’ run, there is an intro and then there is voice guidance as the timers goes along. There is also a bell sound at half-way through 😁

Can you keep the phone in the pocket?

What matters is you can hear the voice prompts. I used Bluetooth headphones and it worked fine with the phone in my pocket.

So I am right in thinking that you can use multiple running applications at the same time to record progress, today I just used Nike plus on my Apple Watch as I didn’t have my phone-but obviously I am thinking about running the British fitness app, the C25K and Nike plus I am just not sure if I will have a million virtual coaches spewing words of pain (I mean encouragement), to me as I workout and run, to be honest I think I may just end up using this app for the alerts to run instead of tracking my actual runs and progress as it’s good for that at least.

You can use different apps if they are not in conflict. Whether it is a good idea to do that is a different question and different people have different opinions on that. If you focus too much on the technology there’s a danger you could forget to actually run :)

That is true, maybe I should get a Brian implant which can project notifications onto the inside of my iris so that I do not need to do anything lol

LOL no that’s not the point. The point is that you don’t need multiple apps to give you prompts. One is enough. This programme works best when you keep it simple. Admittedly I used my Fitbit to track distance as well but you don’t even need to that: the target is to be able run for 30 minutes on a regular basis regardless of distance.
