Hi ,

You have just made a commitment to run start W1R1 tomorrow, brilliant. Take it slowly , smile and talk to yourself - this is the beginning of journey that I have control over . It’s not a race , you can choose to repeat any week should you not be ready to move forward . Enjoy this programme and I know I will be congratulating you in a few weeks :) 🐾

Good luck, I have just finished week 3. My best bit of advice that I only tried out on tonight’s run is to really walk briskly on your 5 minute warm up so that your first run isn’t such a shock to the system x

Thank you, I'll take the advice! X

You'll do great. You'll feel fab after you've done it. I start w3 r1 tomorrow. But Ramadan is starting on Saturday so thinking going back to week 1 runs whilst fasting so it's not as hard

Good luck xxx

It’s amazing! Trust the programme and you’ll be absolutely fine. I’ve not run for 40 years and took the first step you’re about to take and can’t quite believe I’m now about to do run 2 of week 5. So many people say this, but if I can do it anyone can! Good luck and be so proud of yourself x

Ahh thank you so much, I can't believe all the supportive comments! I'm a little scared but excited at the same time. And we'll done you! That's fantastic! Be proud of yourself 😊 x

Hi,

Enjoy your W1R1, you have made a commitment to change your life , you will not regret it . No it’s not going to be easy , you cannot make progress if it’s easy .

You can choose to remain positive and smile as you take on your first steps along a new path. Every step is a step forward . I’m 69 and have completed C25K last week .

Please remember to take it slowly , you are in control of what you choose to do. It’s not a race , and you can choose to repeat a run or a week before moving forwards .

Just do not give up - it’s to easy to give up .

I look forward to congratulating you in a few week - you will complete the programme because you have chosen to start the programme . Perfect 🐾

Great you've joined us. Read all the advice from the administrators it will really really help you. Always do the warm up walk , stretch after and do the strength exercises in between runs, then you should stay injury free, and, like everyone says don't go too fast, good luck!!

Good luck, taking that first step to start it is the brave one. I only started this week too. Take it slow and steady and you’ll do it. It felt hard in the middle but the elation on completing it was great and spurred me on for run 2. Let us know how it goes.
