Week 4 run 1

Two months ago I had got as far as completing week three but then had emergency surgery and was advised not to run for 4 weeks.

This morning I finally completed the first run of week four. Because of the heavy rain last night I ran on roads for the first time - I normally run on grass. I surprised myself both by actually running for 5 minutes and enjoying it. I deliberately took it really slow but did find it easier than running off road - don't know how my knees will feel in the morning though!

That’s great Knitruntalk. Well done for getting back to running. Sounds like your recovery is going well. Onwards and upwards now 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Grass is kind on the joints, but road is faster, so the change can feel pretty good as it takes a little less effort... great job today.
