Week 4 Run 1 eventful!

Yesterday I started the first run of week 4 and about 2 minutes in my headphones played up then died on me. I had a backup pair and they died on me too. As it was a morning run I couldn't go back home in time for work and I didn't have any other headphones to use anyway. Luckily I remembered the most important parts of what I needed to do and managed two 5 minute runs, but did 3 90 second runs instead of two 3 minute runs. I am armed with new headphones for my next run. Who would have thought that headphones would be the cause of stress and not the running!

Good job under the circumstances... I just use my phone speaker!

Thanks I hadn't thought of that. I'll bear it in mind for next time

Well done for having a good go in trying circumstances, that's another run you can tick off! I never got on with headphones, and would just have to memorize the run times. Didn't always get them exactly right 😁

Ugh tell me about it! One earphone just went dead on my run before last! I need my music! I don't like listening to the sound of my huffing and puffing!

I just ordered some Bluetooth earphones to try too to see how it is not having the annoying wire in the way!

But you did your runs and didn't let it stop you so well done 👍

I can't get on with the in-ear headphones at all, they just fall out all the time. I've been using wired in-ear headphones instead which works well. I hope your Bluetooth ones do the trick.
