I did week 4 run 1 this morning and feel brilliant although I was slightly nervous about running 5 mins I didn't even work out we had to do it twice and with 2 lots of 3 mins as well but surprising found it ok to do my leg didn't ache hardly and have found running with buster on the lead and scrumpy running to heel really helps me to keep my pace as buster is a lab he tends to just plod along at the same pace bless him here goes to completing the rest of the week
Week 4 run 1 done!: I did week 4 run 1 this... - Couch to 5K
Week 4 run 1 done!
Brilliant! Well done! I am one run ahead of you, so W4R3 to go and then on to Tricky Week 5. I am sure we can do it though as I certainly never thought I could run for 5 whole minutes...twice!
Well done do a let me know how it goes
That's great, and good exercise for the dogs too, I bet! x
Well done that's great. Bet the dogs are loving it. Will start taking my girls pretty soon
Great stuff! Enjoy the rest of the week
Well done. Keep it up you're doing great and the program really works!
Well done! keep going and keep posting, it's lovely to read where we're all at. I've been wondering about taking my westie out with me, but I'm worried she'll get underfoot and I'll hurt her. Anyone else have a wee dog with any advice? Bet your dogs are enjoying your work outs too xxx
Scrumpy loves running with me she runs to heel and then wonders for a bit while I do the walking bits buster has to be on the lead tho as he keeps going to play with other dogs and I can never get him back but he has a run around when I warm up and warm down he's not as keen on the running but he could do with losing a few pounds too so it won't hurt him

Great stuff, I love your username! You're making good progress, it is daunting to run those longer intervals. Since graduating I still mentally break my run into 5 minute slots. Now you know you can run 5 minutes, great things are possible! Keep going x
Well done you! I'm also one run ahead of you and just finished W4R2 and I'm so pleased, never in a million years did I think I'd be able to run a whole 5 mins, let alone twice!
Unfortunately my GSD died a couple of years ago, so I run alone, I think he would have had a shock seeing me run, but would have loved to trot along with me.
I find I'm looking forward to the next runs and am edgy that I can't go out tomorrow, especially as I'll be out all day Monday so probably won't be able to do my W4R3 until Tuesday - seems ages away. I think I'm getting hooked!
Keep up the good work
