Wk6r2 done yay!

I found the first few minutes the hardest, well it was all hard to be honest but chuffed that I kept going! I know that run 3 is going to be tough but I also finally feel that I can do it!! Again I was quite slow, overtaken by anyone who was also out running!! I’m trying to find decent music to listen to, getting bored of the same playlist (I really find it helps and more enjoyable if I have high energy music to listen to). I’m hoping at some point I will really enjoy my runs, so far it’s about getting through them. That’s my ramble for the day! Very much looking forward to to completing week 6 run 3 on Sunday:-).

Well done!!

I have just come on to the site for a bit of positivity before my run today and there your post was!!

I am just about to do the same run today!

I feel exactly the same as you.....am working my way through the plan but by no means finding it easy and my pace is very slow!!

Good luck with the 25 minute run on Sunday..... we can both do this!!😀

Ace.

I've just done this. Run 3 is only 5 mins longer than the final run of week 5, you can do it 👍👍🏃🏃

I listen to podcasts. There's loads out there, depends what you're interested in.

I like nerdy science stuff so I listen The Infinite Monkey cage.

I've been listening to this too but found I was getting annoyed when the app started talking over it and I'd miss something so haven't done it in a week or so 😂

I think it pauses the podcast when app speaks

Super job Charlotte, the enjoyment really kicks in when it starts to get easier, don’t worry about that yet, concentrate on how good you feel about yourself completing these runs and look back and ask yourself how proud you are of your journey so far.

I too found w6r2 hard, somehow harder than w5r3, good to read your post about it. ELO Mr Blue Sky has a good rhythm for me to run to

I've made myself a playlist that has the soundtracks to the greatest showman and the fast tracks from Moana along with some pink, black stone cherry and Katy Perry, it's really random but i picked songs based on tempo and it seems to really help when I'm flagging
