W3R3 done!

I think I’m getting addicted. Compared to many avid runners, I’m not clocking huge miles on W3R3, but I’m feeling so much better for it. Was looking up playlists, found Jo Whiley’s training tracks, will be using that next time. This morning I used Radio 4(Today programme) but I found I was slower for the last 3 min & last time a playlist worked well - Easy 00s, I will admit, a bit slow, but some fab songs that had me singing along. 😃 I always needed dance tunes before to run along to, but now that I’m enjoying running more with this app, I find I can listen to the music and relax.🏃🏽‍♀️🎵🎶

I can't imagine listening to Radio 4's Today programme would be in any way a relaxing experience. I've long ago stopped listening to it because of the politicians who never ever answer the question asked of them, and the interviewers who never pick them up on it.

Thanks- Yes, I shall move to listening to music instead. Will be more relaxing. Don’t need more Covid news!

When they get to the longer runs where there are fewer instructions to follow (eg. W6R3 and later) some people switch to podcasts.

Well done! Also just completed W3R3. The encouraging thing for me is looking back and seeing my progress - 90 seconds running was a huge effort just a week ago. On the plus side I can run in a beautiful forest here in Ethiopia so tend to enjoy the nature rather than listen to music, but on the down side it's always hot and I'm sure that the 1,200m altitude doesn't help.

Wow impressive, running in the heat and at a high altitude. Post a pic sometime
