I put some of my calmer, poignant songs on to start my run and help me keep it slow, then I add faster, livelier music for the second half. I usually do 3 playlists for the new run week so I never get bored. 🎶 I am also going to try listening to podcasts or the radio and also to run naked (as in no music, no app, etc) The latter happened to me by default once and I enjoyed the freedom!
I’m not a fan of Rap, but the beats in most rap songs are actually perfect for running. I select rap running playlists on Spotify. I also like running to the Smith’s and The Strokes.
