I ran through the woods as always, got to the end and just when Jo W. said 'Confetti should be raining down on you' all these lovely leaves came tumbling down!
It's also a special day as it would have been my dad's 93rd birthday, and it's also a year since I stopped smoking.
I have lost 26lbs in weight over the 9 weeks and feel so much better, younger than my 51 years and just so pleased that I found C25K and this forum.
The obligatory selfie - tried to get my dogs in the picture but they were more interested in rabbits 😊😊🍁🍂🍁

Congratulations! How did you manage to lose that much weight as well? I’m dieting at the same time and know I’m losing inches but the weight isn’t budging - my husband says it’s because I’m building muscle which weighs more but I’m not convinced!
You’ll lose weight by being in Calorie deficit. Eat/drink healthily and keep running and you’ll lose weight It’s when you graduate from C25k and up the distances that you can really start to torch calories Walking is a good calorie burner so try and incorporate more walking into your day 😃
I thought he was telling me porkies 😂. I’m calorie counting <1200 a day and eating very healthily so will just have to be patient - or maybe buy some new scales!
Keep exercising, walking more, gym or home exercise, dance, swim, cycle etc. Just keep that body moving If you are eating and drinking healthily then the weight will shift.
It does take time and yes you need to be patient. It won’t be long though before you feel your clothes getting looser 👍😃
I would say you're eating too little. If you put your details into the bmi checker, it will give you a range of calories for your height /weight - it is recommended to start near the high end & it might sound wrong, but trust me, it works.
Thank you 😊 - as Misswobble says - natural foods, lots of homemade veggie soups, fish, porridge etc, no sugar and I've been keeping a food diary too which really helps. I still have a stone and a half to shift. Good luck xx
