Stuff happening (nothing major)…weather too hot, too wet…maximum faffage…
…anyway, no serious running for a few months, but yesterday I awake to a sunny autumn equinox, and decided it was a sign that it was time to reawaken my running mojo…
So what do you do? It’s obvious really…you go back to the tried and tested C25k 😊
…so for the third time around I fired up the app and reacquainted myself with Jo Whiley. No fussing or driving anywhere, just a gentle jog up and down the main road. No tunes…just the app.
…it’s an undulating route, so I was a little out of puff on some parts, but the knees held up just fine.
…of course I did the warm up and cool down stretches…so important…even on those early and short runs.
Thoughts…
3rd time is so much easier than the first 😂
It’s never too late to start running…
…and it’s never too late to start again.

Oh, welcome back! You’ve been missed. You’re certainly not the only one repeating C25K. There are quite a few of us. I repeated most of it recently after illness. The important thing is that running has waited for us to be doing it again and here we are! 😊
Well done to you LottieMW on restarting C25K again with run 1 of week 1, you know what to do but I will remind you for the sake of other new runners to this training course, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck. ✔️✔️
I saw your post when at daughter's but would have been rude to sit looking at my phone. Welcome back from me, what a beautiful place to run and great time considering the walking parts 👏👏👏👏👏.Hope to see more posts and runs from you x
You are so right!!! So lovely to see you back, and so lovely to see those gorgeous pics. Wishing you many happy runs and can’t wait to hear all about them. ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome back... and yes, the runs do wait... always.... they have the most incredible patience...thank goodness!
So many of us repeating,,. including me, again! There is quite a group! Thanks for mentioning those stretches too! Something I am really pushing right now with our new and repeating runners!!!
I think it’s good for the new runners to see us here repeating the programme…it shows that it’s a dependable programme that they can dip back into at any time…
…and if they see experienced runners coming back and repeating runs…well then they can’t be that dreaded “f” word for repeating runs if they need to…😉
