Week 3 completed

All done and dusted yesterday evening. So far it is going well so I can expect a few more challenges I suspect. New running shoes made a big difference on the last two runs. Great advice here on having the gait analysis carried out. Only issue of note last week was having Bon Jovi tell me I was half way there 10 seconds into the last 3 minute run. I must choose my music more wisely. Good luck to everybody else currently on the programme for the coming days. You know you can all do it.

Great stuff... not sure about Bon Jovi 😂. There will be a challenge or two ahead, but you’ll beat them. Enjoy week 4

Thanks so much. Yes the Bon Jovi thing was a mistake all round.

Thank you. Today's rest day enjoyment is a high intensity rowing machine session later. What's happening to me - I'm even keen on rowing again. I think I need help.

Argh! I could not think of anything worse!! I think I cried the last time I was on a rowing machine...it's on my hard no list, along with spinning...but I always seem to fancy running on my rest days.

Lol, it was my main sport many years ago so I can cope with it I guess.

Your Bon Jovi comment really made me laugh! : )

I finished week 3 yesterday too, today is supposed to be a rest day but I might give week 4 a go if I still feel up for it when I finish work. Well done for your achievements so far, and please post again how you feel about the first run of week 4!

Good luck and enjoy.

Ahh I don't think the rest days are negotiable to be honest. You risk overworking your muscles and injury if you don't observe them. The run will still be there tomorrow.
