Feeling so great! I love having Sarah millican chatting in my ear and find the pace each week pushes me and challenges me but is just about doable! Running in this heat hasn't been fun though, I started the couch to 5k when on easter holidays so it has been a tough transition fitting into a busy working week; wish I was motivated enough to get up really early and do it before work - maybe one day
I read posts a lot and have followed advice - best tip for me has been to slow right down and not see it as a race; my issue is I play running music which makes me want to run to the beat - maybe one day I will be faster but am generally chuffed to have got 9 runs under my belt now.
Have a great weekend all

Hi Lizalc1, I could have written your post! I am at exactly the same stage as you and also listen to Sarah. I find listening to podcasts of R4 dramas helps keep my attention but I think most people prefer music. I hadn't realised we have done 9 runs until I read you saying it!
I have sarah chatting too! Best advice was the bit about you running next to a hedge- people can’t tell if you’re running or walking. I worry I’m going too slow and feel like I’m plodding but nearly at end of week 3 so hanging in there! Good luck
