Week 4 Run1 - Challenging

Well, I have to admit, it is a bit of a step up from week 3 to week 4, never the less I did it without suffering a cardiac arrest! I'm not sure chillie, rice and garlic bread is an ideal post run snack/tea, but it worked for me!!

As for fluid, who's hid my bottle of wine!!!!

Have a good weekend all,

Keeeeeeeeeeep Running!!!

Great job.

Post run you can pretty much eat anything, usually best if it has good protein content, which I’m sure chilli had.

Cheers 🍷

Hopefully you are unlikely to suffer a cardiac arrest when taking part in C25K, more likely to get one sitting on a couch at home stuffing yourself with a Kingsize Kebab and several pints of beer. I don't think garlic bread, a little tea or a little wine will be harmful to you either, as long as you don't have any of these before you run. I enjoy drinking Green Tea, they say that is very good for you.

Well done!! I’ve just started wk3 (did r1 yesterday) and thought it was fine but reading forward to week 4 looks like there is a big step up and I’m very nervous about this time next week. So reading your post is encouraging!

Sorry for my late reply! You will be fine, if you can run 3 minutes, you can run 5. Just keep to a comfortable pace. I listen to the radio while I'm pounding the streets!!! It stops me over thinking which is quite dangerous for me at the best of times😄!
