After my miserable run on Sunday I decided not to repeat run 1 but to go on to run 2 as it is exactly the same and psychologically it helps! I figured that I had run for the allotted 25 mins, I just had a couple of minutes of brisk walking on top of the 25 minutes whilst I decided if I was going to be sick or not!
Anyway - to today. At 22 minutes I felt sick again but ran through it and did it! 25 minutes! Though the last minute felt like an hour!
I think that I will definitely be repeating week 7 as it's far from easy for me at the moment.
Any tips on breaking through that 22 minute "I am going to die!!" feeling?

Are you well hydrated .. not just on run days... ? Not sure if you are indoors, but maybe it is too hot.
It could be a lot of things but if in doubt, just take it even slower and try to relax into the run...
Hi, well done you getting through the barrier, especially after almost having treadmillgate last time out. No tips on the 22 minutes I am going to die feeling, as I get that at the 5 minute mark, so can't help you, because you are way ahead of me. But remember Mr Smooth will never let you down and if he has faith in you, then we all do.
I was running indoors and very well hydrated - I made a conscious effort since Sunday to ensure that I was (my wee was clear as water! Too much info!) I also had a healthy lunch.
Seriously don't think that I could run any more slowly, I was only doing 7.5 km/hr! My brisk walk is 6!
Think it's just a case of plodding on and building up my stamina. I will do run 3 as planned on Friday and I will carry on with week 7 until I am happy.
Thanks for all of your advice and support.
You'll be at week 7 before you know it Hidden it goes so quickly!!
I run at 6k/h ! And I've graduated. Running is different to walking, even if the speed is similar. You can go slower - but you have to let go of your ideas about sufficient speed I think and concentrate on steady, achievable, forward locomotion with the idea of both feet off the ground at same time (briefly). Shorter strides?
That is what I love about this forum. Just when you think "I am not sure I can do this" somebody comes along and says "yes, you can!"
I think that maybe I am overthinking things and should just listen to my body and go with the flow.
My head is telling me to get off the treadmill and get outdoors! But I'm just not quite confident enough yet. I will try slower and shorter strides next time though.
I am doing a slightly different programme to you and today I did run 1 of week 7 but it was 20 mins with a 3 min walk and then. Further 5 min run ... run 2 is a Continuous 26 mins and then run 3 is 27 mins .... dreading it but mind over matter is what I keep telling myself x
Your run 1 is what I managed on Sunday 😊 but I should have been doing 25 mins non-stop! It's getting tough now but we will get there now that we've got this far x
