Complete. Managed to maintain the pace from W1 but definitely felt those extra 30 seconds. Had to push through on a few jogs and caught myself clock watching a few times ... but I made it. After a less than great W1R1, realise I’m an evening runner and feel much stronger later in the day. All in all content and looking forward to Fridays run
W2R1 - New week: Complete. Managed to maintain... - Couch to 5K
W2R1 - New week
Hi Rory! Well done on completing w2r1! I felt those extra 30 seconds too. My hardest run was the second run but by run three I was buzzing. Also to be fair I had not slept well before that run so that probably added to it!You can only go from strength to strength now! Well done, keep going!! 😀
Good on you Rory, I remember being a bit apprehensive about the time of 90 seconds being doubled to 3 minutes on week 3 and from 8 minutes to 20 in week 5, however, after both runs I realised that there was no reason whatsoever to be worried about those particular runs.
Hi Rory, I also completed w2r1 today too
I was running soooo slowly, there was a lady walking her dog on the other side of the street to me and I was going the same speed as her the entire time, haha.
Good luck for your run on Friday
I will also try and run on Friday, going to try and go before picking my sister up from the airport so it might be a very very early run for me!!
Let me know how you get on!!
Good job... welcome to the evening running club! It’s ok to let the pace drop if you need to. Enjoy Friday.
That will be me on Friday morning. I’ve just finished W1R3.
Slow and steady does it and well done!
