Well, I finally graduated from C25K on Monday, after a weeklong break between W9R2 and the last one due to a city trip to Paris. Felt a bit guilty about not running there (and yes, I had some fantasies about completing the final run along the banks of the river Seine… 😜), but on the other hand I walked through the city for 8-10km every day so it’s not like my legs weren’t moving.
Feels so good to complete the entire programme - never thought I’d actually like running! Started out from nothing, and it’s great to see and feel your body improving over the weeks. My heart rate in W1 and W2 sometimes got up to 175bpm, and now it hardly goes higher than 155bpm. And I can still talk while running! Amazing. Thanks Laura! 😊 And thank you to everyone on here for the great stories!
I’m looking forward to building on this. My last run had me up to almost 6K already, but I like the focus on time instead of distance. So we’ll see. So far so good!
Cheers, Friso

Fantastic and well done to you. Running in a city really appeals to me but as you say , you were very active there anyway, running might have been a step too far. Enjoy the next chapter of your running journey.

Congratulations! It’s lovely to see that you already miss it when you cannot run... but a week or two off every now and then can be a good thing for your running development.
Enjoy some consolation and all your future running adventures
