So Tuesday I was awake during the night with earache. Woke up Wednesday with vertigo ๐ so not able to run. Went to Dr she said probably viral go home rest ๐
Wednesday night had acute pain in left ear. Phoned 111. I got oh no thatโs terrible ๐ณ then got woken up at 01:00 screaming my earache stepped up a new level and now bloody gunk came out.
Went Dr Thursday. Dr looked at my left ear and said definitely infected, canโt go back to work tomorrow , have pain relief and antibiotics ๐ so again go home crash out and stay topped up with drugs ๐คช still not able to run.
Thursday night my right ear decided it was quite jealous about all the attention my left ear was getting so decided ๐คฌ you look what I can do. I was then woken with blood coming out of right ear ๐ญ๐ญ๐ณ
Went back to GP who said definitely infected left ear and now my right ear had perforated ๐๐
Been signed off work till OCTOBER!! And canโt run so really fed up.
Back to Dr Monday...... letโs hope no other part of my body is feeling left out ๐ฌ๐ค๐ท๐ค
Thanks for listening to me moan xx

Oh eck! I get constant ear trouble and am waiting for an ENT appointment. Itโs taking forever ๐. When you feel so disoriented and crap thereโs no point in running I stopped listening to music in my left ear and just channel the mUsic through one earpiece (iPhone) Donโt do any music in ears til the infection has gone ๐
I try and keep wind out of my ears and use a folded Buff. keep your ears dry! I chew xylitol gum as it's supposed to help Chewing gum on the side of your collapsed ear drum will help it reflate according to the last consultant I saw
Oh no! what a nightmare!!! I was going to message you and ask how you got on with your run with your sister on Thursday... get well soon Ibot the runs will be ready for you when youโre up to it x
Hold on over there, and hold all your body parts hopefully in one piece. Heal yourself properly. Use this time to relax, unwind, maybe some home strength training, so your legs will be ready to go whenever the rest of you will be ready?
And remember, C25K will still be erected, forum will be here, and we will still be here, waiting for you. In the meantime keep us updated how healing is going and if you are managing to work on some leg strength
Thank you for making me ๐ first time today. Bloody right I will Iโve got my plan.... not sure what but itโs definitely to finish this I mean I was 1/3 of the way through!!
You got far, which means it will be much easier next time. And probably you will be able or to start where you finished (just repeat last run) or speed up the process by doing 1 or 2 runs per week instead of 3.
