Whilst running on Wednesday I took a tumble - tripped over my own feet!! Ended up with grazed/bruises hands and knees and a VERY sore left arm The bruises and grazed will heal - not sure about the dent to my pride though!!

But my arm??? I can’t hold anything, twisting is impossible and I can’t even drive as changing gear is a No-no Moving from straight arm to bent and vice Verda hurts

So

1 Any ideas what injury I may have?

2 Should I continue running - my hands n knees only hurt if I touch them!!

1. Sounds like you may have a fracture, but only a trip to a hospital is gonna answer that.

2. Rest until 1 is resolved, if you do have a fracture you don’t need to be falling on it again.

I was hoping you wouldn’t say that - denial is a strong fiend!!

I know you’re right I need to find out - one way or another!!

May just be bruising, but better safe than sorry.

2 days later and no improvement? You need to get it checked out.

I hope it's nothing too serious.😐

Me too! I ended up casualty ☺️

Whether or not you run depends on how you feel in Yourself If you feel fine then go 🙂. I have tested my injured hands today by walking the neighbour’s dog. That went ok so am planning to run a short distance later but not going if the weather is as vile as it is at present It’s chucking it down and blowing gales. I don’t mind normally but am feeling a bit delicate still 😁

We don’t know what you’ve done to your arm 🤷‍♀️ It could be just stiff from your fall. Get it checked out if it doesn’t feel right in a few days 🙂

Oh no! So sorry to hear that. I would rest the arm from heavy lifting if I were you and only do gentle exercises. If your legs don't hurt I'd say there's nothing to stop you moving even if it's just power walking. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
