Morning, rest day today after completing my 1st OCR yesterday with Nuclear Races

A 6k course with over 90 obstacles, was an awesome day and just shows even without doing the upper body training I should of,I climbed and pulled myself out of the mud....don't think I've ever been so muddy but it is as great.

I've only been running for a year but this showed me how much fitter I am and I am already looking for the next challenge.

Few muscle aches today and bruises to go with the bling for completing yesterday but loved it.

Have a great day.

Well done! I am in awe of anyone who can complete an OCR I struggle with the big inflatable ones at the RFL pretty muddy run. Lol.

You did an amazing job. Great bit of bling there too.

Enjoy your rest day now ☺x

Thanks so much.

Such a mix of obstacles,so are muddy ditches but no inflatables.

I got round due to my family of run buddies and the course marshals.

Go on give it a try Nuclear Races in Essex

Well done you! That sounds brilliant - 90 obstacles over 6km! Love the medal too. I sympathise with the bruises ......... when I did my wolf run I was totally covered in them. Hopefully you were like me though and having so much fun at the time you can't think how you did them! Are you hooked on OCR now?

Yes I'm hooked already looking at what's coming up.

Think a bit spoilt as great family atmosphere with Nuclear Races and no extra cost.Included in entry cost is,bling, tshirt, several cups of tea,hot show, free parking and free entry for spectators.

I only managed it due to support from my run buddies and marshals.

Go on give it a go!!!

Maybe but then I've earned this bruises so will see what the weather does....also got some great finger shaped ones on my wrists (from helping hands pulling me out of the mud)and have to wear short sleeves at work so will be interesting talking point at work
