Week six, run three coming up tomorrow. Though I’m a very fit 58 year old I never, never thought I could be a runner let alone enjoy it. I had an injury at week five and had to go back to the beginning and start again but I persevered!
I’ve had two knee surgeries and many injuries from doing the same thing onstage night after night.
As a actor/ singer and a female, work is less and less and I feel desperately down as I’m at my peak in so many ways but have so little chance to use what I have.
I’m so SO loving the lift running is giving me and grateful to discover this. Whoever that 50 something mother he had to get off the sofa, god bless her.

For all the inclusivity and equality I see in the news, your industry is brutal, especially with the females. Buggles weren’t quite right, video didn’t kill the radio star, but it is damaging music in my opinion, and I feel for the kids who stream on YouTube and watch music, they’re missing the joy of just listening.
Great that you’re loving the running and that it’s giving you a boost. You’re doing great.
You never know what’s on the horizon though 🙂. Pity we don’t have the clubs that we once had. The acts and musicians based where I live went on the ships
Good news about your running though It’s a fab programme. Enjoy 👍😃🏃♀️
Thanks! I’m an opera singer musical theatre singer and I have done a couple of cruises but they aren’t for me. It’s more of an age thing though the running is making me younger!
