Just started week 2. Really struggled today. Stopped 30 seconds before end of last run. Felt like I'd hit a wall. Anyone else felt like this. I am very very overweight but determined not to let it stop me even if it takes a few extra weeks. Next few weeks look scary, I wasn't going to look but the ppl I run with have been telling me. πππ

W2r2 what a struggle today
I found W1&2 way worse than W3 ... youβll have built up a bit of stamina by then so go for it. Missing 30 secs of a run is not a fail, you pushed to the max & will do it to the end next time. ππ»
Iβm in the same boat. Iβve done W2R1 last night and it was painful but managed to finish.
I think you should be proud of yourself for getting as far as you have.
This is my third time attempting C25K and trust me being hard on yourself will lead to give up. Take it easy and focus on your accomplishments
I can empathise. After my first run everything ached. My teeth, my gums, my legs so looking at a spreadsheet with details of what would be coming felt like π what have I let myself in for? I stopped when I could go no further and promised myself I would do better the next time. And I have. Just focus on where you're at and keep at it. You're a runner! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Looking ahead is scary, but the program is very clever, at the end of each week your body is stronger and ready for the next week. If you find you can't finish any of the w2 runs, do the week again. Some people find they just need to repeat one run. Others may repeat a whole week 2 or 3 times, so they feel ready for the next one. Remember it's not a race to the finish, it's about turning yourself into a runner. The hardest part was getting started in the first place, and you've done that. You're doing great!
