W7R2 - recovery and sweat

Bit random and maybe an over share! 😅 but I have just completed week 7 run 2 at my usual pace. I’m finding I recover pretty much straight away and I barely sweat now, whereas before it would take a good few minutes to get my breathe back to normal and I would be wiping sweat off my face and neck constantly! Anyone else finding the same thing?

Well done you for coming so far! I did the same run this morning and I agree - I feel like my fitness is matching the length of the runs okay now, it is more the wobbly legs which are proving a challenge. I feel like my lungs could go faster but my legs can't keep it up. Hoping their stamina will improve over the remaining runs with smaller increments :)

Yeah I’m keeping up with my breathing which I’m quite impressed by 😊 well done on coming so far too! I am just getting some niggling knee pain when I’m resting but I’m hoping the more I run the less I will get it! Otherwise All good!

I feel exactly the same. Did this run yesterday and had totally recovered by the end of the walk- whereas before I was a red sweaty mess. Not finding my legs too bad as i’m actually running (i’m mega slow), but my thighs ache between runs which i’m hoping is a sign that my muscles are developing and the fat is finally going...

Ah yeah mine do ache a bit between runs. One knee in particular is giving me a bit of grief but hopefully it gets better as I progress! Well done on getting to week 7 😊 and glad your feeling fitter. I am deffinitely happy I made the choice to start running, it is making a difference to my life!
