So after a hectic weekend of steampunking along with a Ball in the evening so lots and lots of dancing I was feeling it and woke up saying I won’t run today as I’m too tired. I also had the added problem that my e cig tank broke so smoked proper fags all weekend and my chest was feeling it big time. Well as the day went on and i sat and had my lunch I thought you know what just to do the run, the other reason is I’m on slimming world and only needed 1.5lb to get my stone award. I was never going to Graduate from this programme sitting on the coach. So after about an hour and a half I got my kit on and went. Changed route as I was running out of road on last runs and this I feel made a big difference as I didn’t have to wait for pedestrian lights to change. It wasn’t easy my breathing was difficult (due to the fags) but I did it. On the plus side as well I lost 2lb and got my stone award .. only 3.5 stone to go till target

Well done Piratewench ! I hope I can take some inspiration from you, I'm beginning to fall off the wagon, both with keeping up with C25K and naughty things starting to creep back in to my diet - pizza, cake and Coke. 😢😢
I know how you feel what I wouldn’t do to have a large bar of galaxy, a large dominos pizza and a pack of beer and veg out of the couch. But after indulging in all that would I be happy, maybe for a short while but the thrill I get from completing one of my runs beats that hands down. I’m a stubborn wench and I will complete the programme and then I’m going to start the 5k to 10k just because I can .. you can do this ..we can do this. Second run of week 7 tomorrow only 8 more runs till graduation. Think how far you have come you don’t want to regret not completing it.
