Just done my 2nd session in W2 and finding it really hard, (I am completing it though).... im thinking maybe I should repeat the week to try and increase my fitness before starting W3 - has anyone else done this - feeling a bit of a failure! π©
Only week 2 .......!: Just done my 2nd session... - Couch to 5K
Only week 2 .......!
Move on. All the early weeks are hard, but each one prepares you for the next. You are getting stronger with every run πππ
How can you be a failure when you've completed each run? πππ
Your fitness is improving with each run, and remember this is not a race.
Nearly everyone finds it hard. You're completing each run so no need to repeat. πππ
If the doubts get to you check through the forum, there's oodles of advice. The most important being, "Start slow, go slower still if you're struggling."
You can do this, definitely. πππ
Youβre doing great... move on when you beat one, only repeat if you donβt quite complete one... you can do them all.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Follow the link to mental attitude. Keeping up momentum builds self belief and you only fail this programme if you go back to the couch permanently.
All that said, you are in control.
You got this! Each one is a stepping stone. It is difficult but so worth it.
You are not a failure. I'm still doing Week 1. Not because I'm finding it hard but because I can't trust myself to take it easy.
I don't care what anyone else thinks about repeating weeks or runs.
If you want to do another run from Week 2 then go for it!
I notice the improvement in myself on each run.
Start slow and steady. What's the rush?
I am on a promise to do a Santa run so I plan to progress through the weeks now.
Whatever you do, keep running and smiling πΈ
