I’ve now done run 3 of week 2 but it was the hardest one so far - I think this might be partially to do with the weather as it’s SO hot & muggy. Was very slow & still had burning calves! Didn’t think I would finish half way through but managed it. Feeling a bit apprehensive about week 3 now to be honest but I can only just give it a go!

You got this. Grit and determination means the head is on it... and as you got through it, so is the body. Yes, the heat makes it harder, we should all do a rain dance daily at about 5am.

Ah thank you so much! Sometimes the couch is calling me back & it would be so easy to give up, but you’re right - we got this!
Remember week 3 is still 9 minutes of running. Yes the walk breaks are shorter but that because you’ve got an extra week’s training behind you. Mentally, I just thought of the three minute runs as two 90 second runs in a row without a break between: so in my head it was six 90 second runs same as week two!
Yr not alone, his weather is slaying all of us, I just finished week 7, and it was SAVAGE in this heat.

I personally found W3 much easier than W2 so, don’t even worry about and, it’s raining! 😁
