W5R3 ✅ WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT POSSIBLE?!

This time 4 weeks ago, I was struggling to complete W1. I’ve just done the 20min jog that comes at the end of W5 and literally can’t believe it.

0-5 mins ... finding my stride

6-10 mins ... all OK

11-15 mins ... this is pushing me to places I’ve never been before

16-20 mins ... my legs are SO, SO heavy but I’m not giving up now

21 mins 🏆💪🏻🤣👊🏻🍾🎉

It really is true, each session prepares you for the next, even though it may seem impossible. I’m beyond amazed and know that 30mins (and onwards to 5K) is doable.

It might be my first run in the rain today 🌧🏃‍♀️🐌

Nailed it and got drenched in the process. Confident i can complete this now. I feel like a real runner now albeit a slow one!

20 mins of running (shuffling in my case!) after only 5 weeks is something I still can’t get my head around. Not sure I’d fare well in the rain so double congrats on that ... and on to W6. 👊🏻

Great job. Very well done at the end there... big one ticked off.

Massive one ticked off. The rest of the programme doesn’t phase me now ... famous last words!

Who would have thought it possible? All of us who have been through it. The anxiety, the gremlins, the sleepless night before, the shock of first realising run3 is 20 minutes. I think most of us had doubts, but after the event, know the programme has it right.

Well done for nailing it. Over half way to the podium, just be a little wary of week 6. It has been known to catch some people out.

I feel like if I can do 20mins at this stage, I can do the rest of the programme. None of it has been easy but I’ve read that W6 has hidden gremlins ... bring it on! 👊🏻

Congratulations, exactly the same for me. I completed W5R3 couple days ago. It was my legs being so heavy I found difficult, not my breathing, which surprised me. W6 here we come

Yeah, having to jog with lead legs was the hardest part for me too. I also find getting into a rhythm hard at the start of any jog. Onwards to W6! 🏃🏻‍♀️
