I got up this morning and the back of my knee / top of calf was hurting and I had had a day of rest yesterday, so don't think it had anything to do with running ....... was so miffed as I was hoping all day that my leg would feel better as I had my gym bag all ready in the car to run straight after work. Who would have thought 4 wks ago that I would be upset that I was missing a run !!

It's so funny how quickly we learn to love running and hate it when we miss a run. But as someone said "its a marathon not a sprint", so if you muscles are telling you to rest then heed that good advice.

My problem is how long to I rest when I am not feeling the pain! and do I go back to the last run rather than moving on?

I know; we've all turned into running nutters!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery x

I've always been a bit of a nutter so running nutter sounds like me. Thank you for the well wishes :D
