I’ve just completed week nine run one

Ran 30 mins non stop. NON STOP!!! I really just can’t believe it. I’m going to be honest- I don’t think I’ve caught the running bug as I don’t enjoy the runs but I enjoy the feeling of pride mixed with a massive dose of relief when I’m told I can stop running and I know I’ve completed another stage.

I’ve come so far. On Week three run two. I wrote. “ Those three minutes are killers!”

And now I’m running 10 x that!!!

I definitely think it’s more of a mental game than a physical one and that’s being said by someone whose physical fitness was just about scraping ok! The programme covers the physical aspects by building stamina and fitness slowly. But making yourself keep going when your legs want to stop is what makes you successful.

I’ve two runs to go. I know I’m going to do it. And I truly can’t believe it.

Well done Jan 😊...I know.... 30 minutes, it's amazing isn't it!😄

Start to listen to your body and pace yourself now. Start nice and steady and relax into it. Once you have done the first 8 to 10 minutes your breathing regulates and let your legs take you on, they know what to do...

Two more runs and you will be standing up on that podium...Good luck😊x
