I’m not going to lie. It wasn’t a walk in the park. But it wasn’t a complete struggle either. In fact I even smiled when Laura told me I was half way through the 20 minutes as it didn’t feel too bad at all. My youngest is moving up to secondary school tomorrow so the run was a welcome distraction from the emotions I’m feeling about that!
I’m also back at work tomorrow after 6 weeks holiday...we’ll see how smug I’m feeling then!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Well done!! I did W5R2 yesterday but failed, so am going to try it tomorrow again! That's you well over half way now 😊
Aww, you didn’t fail Sweetpea...you got out there and tried and you’re going back out there again to do it. Failure is when you don’t even try at all! I will look out for your post tomorrow!
Yay, huge congratulations👍🏻🏃🏻♀️🏆 W5R3 is THE defining run of the whole programme in my opinion. Crack that and you’re on your way. I’ve got it coming up on Friday 😱
So great to hear about everyone's successes. I just completed w5 R1 today so working my head up to r2. I am getting slightly concerned about my distance completed though. I'm still on same route as w1 which is approx 2k, but I guess I'm running most of it now rather than walking.
When you say you’re concerned about distance, do you mean because you’re doing less or more? I added another road into mine which came out in a similar place as my original route. If it’s less distance I wouldn’t worry...you’re pacing yourself well! 😀
I wouldn’t worry about doing 5k by the end of 9 weeks. I think the programme is training your body to run for 30 minutes ultimately. After the 9 weeks you can work on your pace. I would say you’re doing perfectly at the moment 👌🏻
Very well done. Well you see, it sounds like you did better than me!
