Just back from my run, struggled like mad this morning, not sure if it was the 4 hours sleep I had last 🤔🤔 found it tough going but I did it...

I’m just back from my run too and it’s very warm and muggy here - maybe you weren’t hydrated adequately and the heat got to you? The sleep factor may have affected you too.

All runs are different, so my bet is you’ll find the next one much easier! Go smash W8, and good luck. 😀👍🏻😀

The fact that I completed it makes me proud even though it wasn’t the best run. I’d have probably given up pre c25k.... next run weds so I’ll make sure I hydrate properly tomorrow and ensure I eat and sleep well

Well done for doing it!

I used to think that proper runners found running easy and it was only unfit lumps like me who struggled, but the more I do this, the more I believe that everyone has difficult days, it'll just that runners (like you and me!!!) keep on nevertheless.

I think that what we are learning isn't just capering about wreathed in smiles, it is "found it tough going but I did it..."

Thank you.... it was a proper tough one but perseverance pays off in the long run, never though I’d be able to run so every day I’m thankful that I started this. Looking forward to my next one xxx

That’s the most important bit... you did it. Well done, a struggle one came along and you beat it.

Lack of sleep won’t help, and it’s 😱 Monday too!

🤣🤣🤣 love the fact I can blame Monday and tiredness 😆 the next run will be better, positive mental attitude and all that... watch this space for Wednesdays update

Sometimes it just sucks for no reason, happens to the best runners. Nike have a guided run for the run after and the coach talks you through the positives of a suck run. It’s a 35 minute one, so post graduation tool.

I really struggled last Wednesday with this run as I did it in the evening rather than my normal morning routine. I redid this run on Friday in the morning and it felt loads better. Managed W8R1 this morning too.

I’m sure it’s the lack of sleep, try it again and you’ll be fine x

Routine is everything, I was slightly late due to other stuff taking priority. I’m hoping Wednesdays run will be much better, Well done for doing wk8 r1... we’re almost at the same stage xx

Well done on completing. It’s tough trying to run if you’ve not had enough sleep. Hopefully it will have tired you out so you have a more rested night tonight. 😊

It was so difficult this morning, I did think about giving up but then imagined how disappointed I’d be with myself so pushed to the end. Fingers crossed for sleep tonight, I’ve got a gym class later which will also help I think
