I’m just back from my run too and it’s very warm and muggy here - maybe you weren’t hydrated adequately and the heat got to you? The sleep factor may have affected you too.
All runs are different, so my bet is you’ll find the next one much easier! Go smash W8, and good luck. 😀👍🏻😀

I used to think that proper runners found running easy and it was only unfit lumps like me who struggled, but the more I do this, the more I believe that everyone has difficult days, it'll just that runners (like you and me!!!) keep on nevertheless.
I think that what we are learning isn't just capering about wreathed in smiles, it is "found it tough going but I did it..."

Sometimes it just sucks for no reason, happens to the best runners. Nike have a guided run for the run after and the coach talks you through the positives of a suck run. It’s a 35 minute one, so post graduation tool.
I really struggled last Wednesday with this run as I did it in the evening rather than my normal morning routine. I redid this run on Friday in the morning and it felt loads better. Managed W8R1 this morning too.
I’m sure it’s the lack of sleep, try it again and you’ll be fine x
