I decided to up the effort tonight. It’s ok running slower to get round, but at some point I figure you’ve got to give yourself a bit of a prod. Set off at a pace of 9:54/mile, which slowly creeped down by the end giving me an average of 11:25/mile. I’d passed my previous end point today before Laura even got to the one minute to go mark. Pretty happy with the feeling that when I finished I knew I had nothing left to give.

I’ve got this run tomorrow and have been thinking of doing the same thing, so it’s good to hear someone else has survived speeding up!

(Love your username, btw!)

You’ll be fine, you’ve done all the preparation work and if you think you’ve set off too fast, you can always slow down a bit, that’s what my thinking was anyway 😎👍🏻

Not that far up, im in Yorkshire... the name was a homage to Sarah and a nod to her help getting me through the first 4 weeks 🙂👍🏻
