First Laura free run, I have to admit it was strange without her. I had to have words with myself about not looking at my phone all the time. I know where all my time markers are but because Laura wasn’t there I had to check my phone.
This run was 100 times better than my graduation run. I feel so much better this evening. Shins hurt for first min or so then all was good. I’m running 4.1 km in 30mins. I’m going to consolidate my 30min runs before I try to reach 5k as still tired on the return run.

It’s not easy losing that friendly voice... well done. You can avoid looking at the phone with tracking apps as they can update you every so often (distance or time) if you want that. The fact that it was a better run suggests you don’t need it though. Great job.
4.1km in 30 minutes is really good! Have fun running around for a couple of weeks, and after that it sounds like you'll have no trouble picking up one of the 10k plans if that's what you fancy. Good luck!
I will do thanks, not in a rush as long as I make steady progress.
I don't think I could cope without Laura now. When I graduate I plan on doing a week or two repeating W9R3 with each of the five coaches and then moving on to C25K+ so I have at least another month with someone in my ear.
