Good morning and hello there. This month it is my turn to bring us all together in the what is your week chats. I can see we have really grown since the last time I did this, it is great to see so many new faces. I thought the quote below as very apt to how I used to feel going through the program I was so eager to feel like a runner it was my main motivation. Now I am a runnner and I love it.
We are growing so much at the moment and we wanted to have a little fun post ,so we can see who is on what week of the programme, and hopefully it will help everyone to feel more included on the forum.
Please remember it doesn't matter if you stay on the same week for a while, that is fine; it is a journey and it really doesn't matter how long it takes, it will be so worth it when you get to the final run.
If you have just graduated, this will be a great place to keep you motivated, there is always the Quest on the Bridge to 10k forum as well for graduates.
I will add all the names from this week under this post. Every week for the month of August the names will roll over into another post.
Let's get a good list going so we can support each other.
(Come on you lurkers, you can do it as well. ?)

Hi there, I’ve just finished week 3, and just got around to looking on the forums here which have really helped me feel motivated and part of something good! Thanks for the welcome : ) I’m new to this - had a couple of patches of trying to run for 20 mins every day in the past but just ended up having to stop because of knee/joint pains. So far so good on this programme..I’d love to make it to 5k and am enjoying the challenge!
Hi Week 2 run 3 for me today. So far so good. I've tried this before and have up so easily but I really am motivated this time and miss not being out on my rest days. Thoroughly enjoying it 😊
Week three started today. A week behind after a week away where I did several hours of hilly forest walks a day but skipped the runs despite taking my running gear. Hopefully back on track now.
Hi I finished week 8 yesterday! So start week 9 tomorrow so I should have this in the bag by the weekend 😱😱 - my hip has been a bit sore overnight but still hoping to plod on - can’t quite believe I have got this far!!
