Hi all. Does everyone manage their first run straight away. I ran/ walked 4x but could not complete the full programme for today.

It's fine. Every time you run, whether you complete it or not, you get stronger. Have a day's rest and give it up another go. The hardest part is going out of the door for the first time, and you've done that, so well done. Remember to take the runs really slowly, particularly in this weather.

Way to go for getting out there and giving it a shot. You’ll soon get there.

Many do not... just slow down and treat it as a practice run:) You will be fine:)

Thanks all. I’m a nurse so constantly on my feet and on my days off I walk 5k with my daughters on an evening. So I just didn’t expect to find it as hard as I did. Tbh if I think back to how I felt this morning I’m surprised I survived lol. X
