Today I have taken the first step and downloaded the app ready to start next week. I have never run before but I’m looking forward to giving it a try. I walked 5k at the weekend in the subway family 5k and can’t believe that hopefully I’ll be running that distance by the end of the year.
I do slimming world so I’ve got my diet largely under control, this is my next step!

Well done you! Once you start you’ll enjoy the challenge of doing more each week and - amazingly - managing to complete it! Take it slow and if you’re struggling just come here. There’s so much wisdom and sharing of problems and solutions that you WILL do this. Good luck.
Echo the welcome! There are some fantastic resources and posts on here and Iannodatruffe (I can never spell that!) is a Mentor and can link you to some brilliant advice for beginners. I have never liked running and now I love it, because of this programme and the positivity and support of this forum!
