My journey so far....

So a little while ago a friend asked if I wanted to take part in a Glow in the Park 5k Run. Sure, I said, that sounds like fun. And so started my couch to 5k journey. I love running. I don’t know at what point I realised this fully. But at some point of my journey (before the week that shall not be spoke of, week 6) it happened. Anyway-the aforementioned Glow in the Park Run was this weekend. Although I’m only in week 7, me and my friends thought, let’s just give it a try and run it all. We managed the 5k in 42 minutes without much difficulty-and enjoying the foam/paint/lasers/absolute freezing cold! I’m officially back on the program now and heading for those 30 minutes run in a couple of weeks but having a little moment of pride that 5 months ago I got out of breath running for 60 seconds and now, well, I’m a runner! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Well done, that looks really good fun! Best of luck with the rest of the programme, it sounds like you'll have no problem at all.
