I’ve been getting up early and running at 6am. Still felt too hot for me today at 18C. It took me forever to cool down, I’ve started having breakfast in the garden as the house is too hot and I can’t stop sweating. Can’t wait for the cooler weather 😀

I’m glad it’s not just me. I ran on Friday night which was heaps cooler and it was my best pace and so furthest run (just finished week 8). I chickened out last night as it was so hot and I’ve been busy all weekend but I’ve got to go tonight 😰

My problem is the opposite. After a run, I feel ready for bed, which can be awkward if there are things I still need to do!

That why I can’t do. The early mornings Cos I b so tierd !!! That working would be so difficult esp in the heat!! think if I moved to Iceland wouldn’t have to worry about heat waves 👍

I've been going out after 8 pm during this heat and having a late dinner when I get back.

Up at 5 and run before work. Lovely and quiet and not too hot.

Yes, I’m a vote for the morning too - I try to be out around 6am; it is so much cooler and peaceful. I do have to lay everything out the night before to be easily stepped in to/picked up without thinking though; my morning brain would find any excuse not to go! I use the warm up walk to wake up :)

My alarm goes off at 4.30 and I'm out running at 5am, I have to be at work by 7.45 and I can't cope with the heat In the evenings, it's not easy as I'm not a morning person at all, roll on the cooler weather!

That’s seriously impressive!!! And I guess u r not exhausted the rest off the day? I would be on my knees if I did that

It's a great way to start the day. Feeling smug knowing you've done your days run while most people are still sleeping.

So much respect for those of you completing programme in this heat. Graduated back in April but down to two short runs a week at most. Can’t manage to get up early enough for anything longer before work and it’s so hot until very late evening too. Look back longingly to those freezing cold February evening runs when I am in work over an hour after a run and cold shower - and the perspiration still dripping off my pink face!

I'm running in the morning, get up at 6, run for 6.15 then back home to pick up my dogs for a walk! Still time to get ready to leave for work at 7.45. Nice and quiet in the morning and so far it has been cool enough !

Started running in blizzards back in February! This is a nightmare. I go to the gym and run on the treadmill if I can’t get out. I like mixing it up anyway. Running at 8:30 is nice too. Actually helps me sleep 👌🏽
