W15R1 - Running in heat

Today, I went out earlier (6am) to the amazing scenery of Costa Rican beach just after sunrise. The place is like from a dream and running there seam to be like in the film or book at leaat. At that time, it wasn't airless or stuffy. But it was already hot and my lungs struggled. I ran 17 minutes, but had to take several walking breaks.

The run was almost nice. I still look for my mojo. Currently, I am running without any music or podcast. I am just enjoying views and sounds that are all around me. Thanks to that I also listen to my body more. I think I will go back to Laura after holidays to push more. This is yet another week of very short and slow runs.

Regardless, I enjoy as many things I can. If it's not the run itself, it is all around me :)

Happy running!

6am here... dark, bloody cold, and I can’t run at the moment... so I’m jealous, jealous and jealous!

Shorter running warm weather training... think I’ve heard of that before somewhere 😂

Keep enjoying the whole thing... it’s not all about running, it’s all about running. Now I’ve confused myself... it’s all around and about running 😀

Thank you :) I am enjoying! It is some great change to run in heat. I think my body didn't really get it that I am somewhere awesome on holidays. It strugles with heat and unexpected in December amount of sun that it's getting ;D

I am very happy in here and even short, mojo-less runs are good :)

Maybe the airline has the mojo? You’ll be reunited with it soon!

I hope so, or I left it in the car and it will join me tomorrow during changing the hotels ;)

You don't need to prove anything with your running - you're on holiday, so enjoy!

I don't need to prove anything with running anyway ;)

I started it for myself for mental and physical benefits :)

I've been going to my hometown on visits of anything from three weeks to a couple of months twice a year or more since 1992.

It's remarkable how "New and rather wonderful" some places now appear when I look at them with a "Runner's eye" :)

Running "effortlessly" for more than about 1/10th of a mile (and even that distance was once unimaginable) will never be a reality for me because of a few asthma and bone related reasons - but I absolutely love it :)

For logistical and time constraints reasons I have yet to run "on holidays" but one of these trips it will happen - and won't that add to the memories 😊😊😊

It is for sure totally different experience to walk on the beach vs to run on the same beach.

This is my first running holiday adventure and hopefully not the last :)
