Hi , I am really enjoying couch to 5k, I never thought I had it in me. I am just starting week 5 (run 1) I like to look ahead and noticed week 5 (run 3) is a massive jump, from an 8 min run in week 5 (run 2) to a 20 min run in week 5 (run 3) is that correct?
I have a question about week 5: Hi , I am really... - Couch to 5K
I have a question about week 5

Yes it is correct.....but.....please don’t worry about it 😬 I felt exactly the same last week (see previous posts). This morning I did W5R2 & it was fine. I surprised myself & so will you! I’ve still the first 20min run to go! 😬...but this program is very well designed, stick to it & you will succeed 🏃♀️🎉😃

Thank you for your reply, good luck for your 20 min run 😀 I will look forward to the challenge 😐🏃🏼♀️
I thought that too when I saw longer runs were coming up (l am now on W7R2) but honestly I find it better not having the walking break. I run out and back on same route so find the bell for halfway is my heading home point and means I know the distance I have to do until end of run too which helps give me a target. Hope that helps and trust the programme it does work but go slow and steady!

Hi, I can say with confidence that you can do it, because I did W5R3 yesterday. I struggled with W5R1, but yesterday was easy and fun. I actually ended up running for 30 mins and nearly 4km, completely amazed myself and so will you! Good luck. 👍

Yes, good info here in the link..
