I completed week 4 , but was struggling in last 5 min runs .. heart rate going to 170 bpm . Despite slowing down considerably. I am doing 10 min a km (walk run ) . Earlier weeks (w1,2,3) by 2 and 3 run of week , I used to feel comfortable, but here all 3 runs of week I needed to push myself very hard .(even 30 sec more run I would have collapsed)
I am actually bit worried about starting week 5 . Will I be able to push myself more??.

I was thinking I’d redo week 3 this week because I’d convinced myself I wasn’t ready for a full 5 min run but this morning (after a very long night of insomnia) I thought, 💭trust in the power of Jo Wiley, she’s got me this far💭 and I managed to complete it. Keep going.
This tends to be a point where people give in. There is Nothing wrong with running slow. If anything i think It helps in the long term. Prove your doubting self wrong. I found this week a psychological barrier so just repeated the ones I found hard. Then smash it out of the park. You’ll surprise yourself 🍀
I finished w5 yesterday and the 20 mins was the best run yet! Now back to walk/run at beginning of w6 and told to respect this transition😬just keep going, sometimes as slow as a walk for me when running, slow and steady, slow and steady, with a good playlist, good luck you can do it! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
