Yay I have graduated! It felt slower this morning but I actually hit a couple of PBs! One was up my nemesis hill π and the other was my 5km time.
I couldnβt have done it without the support on here and obviously my mentor Jo Whiley! Does anyone else feel like emailing their celebrity and telling them of their achievement?! /stalker π
Anyway, hereβs the obligatory sweaty yet happy graduation photo!

Hmm, consolidation after a week's holiday but I did think to myself at the end of this run that I'm quite happy with this time and distance at the moment and I'll just start by finding new routes where I live which will help to stretch me in distance and time. Not so worried about pace!
You must spend so much time on here - I see your comments all over the place! It's a lovely forum and full of so much positivity and you contribute a lot to that
Absolutely awesome and a lovely pic. No need to email Jo - she was there with you the whole time so she knows exactly what you achieved π Many congratulations and keep going. Running after graduation is brilliant fun - no fear of 'failing' - just play with time and distance for half an hour.
Good point Mike - of course she knows I'll be in Austria tomorrow for a week and not planning to run as I think the walking will be sufficient but I bet I'll be chomping at the bit to get back running when I return!
Yay! Congratulations and what a great distance! Hope you are feeling totally awesome! Lovely smiley pic too...π
I've already thought about sending Jo a message on instagram or something. She's been absolutely great for me! I'm sure she gets messages all the time!
Enjoy your weekend basking in all your well deserved glory! πππππ
Congratulations southlundon itβs great to see you graduate - and 5.3k is amazing. Step onto the podium and collect your shiny badge πββοΈππΎπ₯π
Thanks Dexy! That includes the walks but I'm taking it anyway When I start my consolidation runs I'll only measure the run distance and see how far I get...
