So pleased to say I did my last 30 min run today and I've Graduated. I was extra pleased to do it today on Armistice day and wore a big red poppy on my tee-shirt. I was thinking how fortunate I was to just have to strive for 30 mins compared to those who served in the wars. I'm sure it helped me to to realize that if the veterans could endure what they were faced with, then I could certainly run for 30 mins! It worked and I'm delighted and pleased with myself, so I'm going to ask for my very own "medal".
Thanks to all those who sent their words of advice an encouragement - they were so gratefully received!

I was running past a shop window the other day and they had one of those life size silhouettes of a British Tommy head bowed rifle in hands, with a poppy display and I honestly thought exactly the same as you did.
Enjoy your consolidation runs, try the Nike Run Club app, I found it really good, itβs free and has a great choice of runs of various times and distances with a coach to keep you company and you can play your own music too ππββοΈ
