I have just done w2r1 and loved it! Thought the extra 30 second each run would beat me, but it didn’t. I’ve NEVER jogged in my life and I cannot believe I’m doing this so if I can do it anyone can!

Try listening bananarama greatest hits, spurs me on! Takes me back to my teens 😀💪.

Just completed W1 too. Found the last run the same but putting it down to being tired and adjusting to this new exercise I’m doing lol. Doing my W2R1 on Wednesday 5.30am.

Well done everyone who’s just starting. Congratulations. It’s well worth it.

I’m on week 7 now and couldn’t run at all before I started.

You will make it.

And you’ve done the hardest bit - you’ve got off the couch and made a start 😄 well done.

Just done my w1r1, starting again, I’ve done this program before and it works actually ended up doing the GNR and got a pretty decent time too😊... you will have days were you have crap runs but stick with it and best of luck with it 👍🏼

You do struggle for the first few weeks, especially if, like me, you are starting from zero running. Good news is that you get better as the weeks go by and by week 9 you've had enough practice to complete the 30 minutes. If it helps repeat a run that you initially struggled with. I repeated two runs because I didn't think I was ready to move on and it helped a lot. Go by how you feel - you'll know if you're ready to move on to the longer runnning/less walking runs. If you don't think you'll manage, repeat one of the easier runs, it all helps to build stamina and get your body used to the longer times.
