Out this morning

Up early this morning for a wee burn and managed 3 Miles in 30 mins . Quite chuffed with that 😁.

My legs feel seized though. My muscles yesterday felt like I’d run up Ben Nevis and no amount of stretching would get rid of the stiffness.

Run was fine though but it hurts to sit down and stand up. Not sure what that’s all about🤔

Lovely pace and I put my stiffness down to being a lazy git for most of my life😁

But now, you're transformed!! :-)

Im certainly feeling that way.

It's an habit to form that does you good. At my age you shouldn't be giving it all like when I was a school.

Just take it easy and build it up.

That the best advice I could give any one. 👍

My left knee is still giving my gyp from yesterday. I'm going to be kind to it today and if it's still a bit grumpy I'll just take another rest day.

Try getting out for walk today if it's just stiffness. If it's really painful, have a hug. No idea what to suggest tho...

Could it be a bit of hydration is needed forestgrum?. I have been drinking litres of water the days before and after a run to ensure my pee is the right colour. (Sorry to those of a sensitive nature). It really makes a difference to me.

Yup yesterday I must have drank 4 litres of ice water! My back garden thermometer was reading 35 degrees😱. I sat and watched the sananach football game. Well played by the way!.

Today is the wee mans 6th birthday party so I will mostly be louping about on a bouncy castle with 30 children jumping on my head.

I’ve always wondered how to spell sananach! This forum is sooo informative! Lol

On a serious note, your pace etc look fine, but maybe try eating more fruit (especially citrus) the day before and on the day. Citrus fruit & salt all help your electrolyte balance.

Good luck!

Interesting 🤔 I’ll give that a try. Although with this looming shadow of the ol adversary type 1 diabetes, the citrus fruits also add much unneeded sugars which boost my blood Glucose levels.

I might try those “high five” electrolyte effervescent tablets that give all that but are sugar free.

Cheers for the advise I’ll pick some up on the way to work tomorrow and see how that fairs .
