I never would of imagined 9 weeks ago that I would be there running non stop for 30 mins, I could not even run 3 minutes without getting out of breath before I started. I now have a love for running. Running has also helped me improve a lot when I go to my regular boxing class. In the beginning I registered to run the Westminster mile run with the kids at the end of May and yesterday I registered to run my first 5K run on the 15th June in Hyde park. The furthest I have ran is 2.68 miles but Iβm going to be working on my speed and change to running 4 days a week πππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈπ
I graduated this morning : I never would of... - Couch to 5K
I graduated this morning
Wow great Iβm excited for my last run tomorrow same as you never thought it was possible at all itβs a fantastic programme good luck with Hyde park what a great setting
Congratulations! Iβd advise waiting until you have been running 6 months before skipping a rest day. Enjoy that mile, and closing out the 5k... that wonβt take too long, youβre only two laps of a track away, and youβll continue to get stronger and fitter. Celebrate well and enjoy all your future running adventures
Congratulations on completing C25K and graduating π , number 1 rule is not to run on consecutive days until you have been running for over 6 months, so running 4 days a week now is OK. π
Thank you, Iβm so happy that I have stuck to the programme and surprised that I didnβt need to repeat any of the runs but Iβm quite a determined person I wouldnβt let my legs quit when they wanted toπ
Thank you for sharing your experience it gives me hope. Im sure you will get faster now you can run 30 minutes non stop. Congratulations!
Congratulations runner! π π
Enjoy your acheivement and your new ability π
As you've discovered the programme is fantastic and teaches you more than just how to run if you let it π
Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.
