Not looking pretty today - hip and thigh black and blue following my dramatic catapult from my 4 legged friend. Fell wed, last run Mon. Was due to start week 8 yesterday. Worried the break will really set me back 😳

Hey! I’m in same boat and really frustrated by it, no horse for me, just the high pollen/Asthma making it too much for me.

I’ve not been for almost 2 weeks, usually run Saturdays but throat raw and coughing a lot so no chance. Im on W7R3 next but without the pause would have been close to graduating, really frustrated!

A week or two won’t hurt. Just take it steady on the first run back.

Oochh that must’ve hurt. Just take the time out that you need and pick up where you left off. If that doesn’t work, you may have to go back a week but don’t worry, the runs will still be there. 🐎

Well, we knew you were going to be black and blue... poor you x

Just try to keep moving...but make sure you are well enough as and when you begin again.

Try not to worry about setbacks, many of us have had long spells on the IC and we are still here:)

You do not lose fitness that quickly... you may feel a bit weak and yukky, but when you set out, you simply do a slow and steady jogette to see how things feel...:)

Many of the Graduates, including me have come back and repeated bits of, or even all of C25K... just depending on the nature of the injury.

I shall have been on the IC for at least 6 weeks when i get the MRI on my knee done..and depending on that, it could be another 8 weeks...

So... try to keep everything supple despite the aches and pains... and stay positive.. we are all right here:)

Oh no I did one of those a couple of weeks ago. She got her leg and my leg/stirrup caught up in excessively long grass. She lept and when my leg broke free of the grass it was like a bungee straight up and over the top of her 😂😂. Picking gravel out my arm for a week! I actually found slow running helped the stiffness so hopefully you can bounce back ok
